It was some 20years ago now, Pops owned 2 Peters, cab overs, Pops was a good soul, but a prankster!!! team driving with him the first few trips, to be checked out, well somewhere in the Keystone state, D.O.T. had a roadside check point setup, Fucker had Creeper in hand, jump suit on and ready to hand out some fines...... This being my first stopped By D.o.t. , i wasn't sure of what was expected of me..... After the Lic, permit, and all the good stuff check, it was time for me to get scaled, by the portables scales.... Listening to Pops advice, i rolled up on them, then revved the engine, popped the the clutch, and watched the scales fly back at least 100 feet........ Well officer Clarke was pissed, Pops by now is breaking a nut in the passenger seat (laughing his ass off) Me I'm thinking this is what My Pops told me i needed to do to get them scales seated under the tires......... Rule of thumb If Pops is a prankster, don't take advice from him when D.O.T stops you!!!! (NOTE) We (POPS) was sighted for over 400.00 buck in stupid fines, like mudd flaps not matching and so on, and about 2 hr delay!!!!

No willie we leave them boom pumps on the side of the road, usually cause our Mechs. didn't fix them...(i'll say no Names) rofl and as far as beeping @ them (D.O.T.), well you know me willie always looking for a new friend to F*ck with....... and boy I found some along the way ..... I recon twice in one Wk. was more then Redface (terry God rest his soul) could handle!!! what $3600. for the two changed permits in one wk... So i like to beep the horn at D.O.T..... Hell if you remember i was on first name basic's with some of them in Fla.... P.s Only been stop once in 9 months in Arkansa.... ($175. ??? you guessed it!!!
